Jogging along the road, Katrina looked at the houses surrounding it. Man, humans must be so daft just abandoning dens. Near a corner of the road, she saw something that caught her eye. It looked like a white stick with a square leaf at the end. Katrina decided to investigate. Walking up to it, her nose burned with the smell of bleach. She pressed it into a small crack on the square leaf part. Nope, nothing here that I would need. As she tried to bring her nose up, it got caught in the crack. She shook her head around violently, but it still wouldn't come off, and it was pinching her nose.
Katrina grew angry, and swiped it off with one paw. Her nose bled slightly, but she couldn't feel it. Still unhappy with the object, she snapped it in peices with one bite, and made one of the loudest noises she ever heard. Crap, I hope that didn't make any dogs aware... She decided to go into one of the houses, now irritated, and walked up to the front door.

Kiapt padded towards the center of town ignoring all the scents that crossed her nose. She had wandered here for some reason, she didn't really now what. Then she heard a crash. Has something fallen on a dog? she thought. Bouding over to the sound she couldn't see any sign that a dog ahd been here except for a piece of snapped wood. And the wood could of done that on it's own.
She scented the air catching a faint scent of the dog. She raised her nose high into the air. This was a big dog. Hopefully it was friendly because of her small size. She trotted over to where a dog was standing at a door to a house. "Did you see a dog over there?" she asked looking up so she could see the dog's eyes.

Katrina whipped around, and pulled her lips over her teeth. Snarling like she had rabies, she looked at the dog. Ah, no worries here. Easy to take on if nesessary. She lower her snarl some, but her fur was still on end, and since she was on one of the top steps to the porch, she looked even taller than she normally looked.

Kiapt shrunk back a little. Apprently this dog didn't want to talk. They needed to learn to be a little more friendly! "I was just asking...I heard a snap and thought a building came down." she barked to katrina. But she sure is big... Kiapt thought looking up at Katrina. She was a basset hound, partly. But she wasn't fat or had fat legs. She was pretty lithe for her breed actually.

She looked at the dog, then shrugged and jumped at the door. It came down with an even greater crash. She looked around, and found herself in an average day home. A couch, old TV, and a room leading to the kitchen. Bingo Katrina walked into the doorway, and found a massive kitchen. Some mice scurried away as she walked in. On the floor were old cereal boxes, and some cans that were nawed open by some type of rodent. Some of the cabinet's doors were gone, or on the floor hiding the bugs beneath them. But the fridge was still closed, and no bugs or mice could break the seal. She opened it using her teeth, and grabbed what looked like an old pizza. It smelled good, so it was safe to eat. As she closed the door with her back paw, something caught her eye. It was a dog bowl.
She set the pizza down, and sniffed it. They... they had dogs here? She stared at it for what seemed like an eternity.

Katrina turned away so Kiapt thought she didn't really care. Making a huge crash slamming down the down Kiapt trotted in after Katrina. She looked around at a couch. Bound to be something under there. She thought turning away she followed Katrina. She saw unhinged cabinets and a fridge. Katrina was staring at some bowl. "What are you staring at?" Kiapt asked Katrina. It was odd staring at a bowl after all.

Katrina let out a small gasp as the small dog spoke, and turned toward her. Letting her eyes fall low and then up again, she grabbed the pizza and brushed past the hound. She sat herself on the couch, and took all the perreroni off it, spitting it on the floor. She took small bites, and chewed the cheese daintily off.

Kiapt gazed after her. "Can I have some?" she asked Katrina going over to sit beside the couch. She would eat the pepperoini is she said no. But oh well she guessed. The dog had to be somewhat friendly. I am Kiapt would let the dog have some. She looked at Katrina. The dog just cheweing the pizza like every dog in the world was watching her.

Katrina thought about what the dog said, and knew that a small peice of pizza wouldn't last the two of them. She left hers on the couch, and growled slightly when she walked by the hound. Kat went inside the fridge, and grabbed the whole box, which had almost a whole pizza in it. She walked back, and threw it in front of the dog. It wouldn't have been able to get the pizza in the first place since it was too high for the dog to reach.

Kiapt watched as she jumped off of he couch and went back to the fridge. Katrina came back with another pizza and threw it infront of her. "Thanks!" she barked and started to claw the box off. Wow. A whole other pizza! Kiapt would of never even been able to reach it let alone eat it with out Katrina. She finally got the box open and started eating the pizza in big chunks. Well, big for her. Katrina would probably call those mouse feedings.
