 Storm plodded through the lands, hoping to find some water neer by, she hadnt had a drink in quite a while and her thirst was getting on her nerves. She soon spotted a river near by and she ran up to it. She smelled the water before walking into it, the water was clear and cooling on her black & tan fur. She lapped up the water happily, not thinking about wether or not another dog... or dog catcher was near by. |

Breeze padded through the forest the green surronding him from the harsh sun beating down on their leaves instead of his fur. It was warmer now that spring was here, and he was glad of it. The only disadvantage was the hotter it got, the more thirst he had. He exited the forest and stared across the blue river as he saw another dog. They look about my size. If they attacked I could take them. he thought as he padded slowly over. "Hi." he barked over to the opposite bank as he lapped up a couple mouthfuls of water.

Storm looked up quickly, not sure where the bark came from. She glanced around, a little scared at first, soon realizing that it was just another dog. "Oh um.. hey" she said, somewhat embarassed about being so scared at first. Maybe it was this dogs terratory and he wanted her out... or maybe he wanted to be friends with her? She gave her silky tail a slight wag before laying down on the ground. She wasnt too sure about what to do so she just relaxed and let it play itself out.

Breeze noticed the dog looking scared soon changed into a more relaxed state. Hm. Looks like their threatened or something. he thought. He stood up shaking his brown blank fur and looked over the water. It was a sizeable distance, but not impossible to jump. Breeze backed up a couple paces and launched himself across soon dangling with two paws on and two paws off. He scrambled up the bank and shook his fur rid of the water. He flicked his tail slightly embarrased about not making the full distance. "Hot day out." he barked. "What's your name?" he added quickly curosity getting the better of his polite manners. Well, he didn't really have polite manners. But that wasn't the real issue.

Storm watched as the dog jumped the bank, barely making it over to her side. She stood up and stepped back a bit, giving the male some room. "Storm" she said, wagging her tail again. It was actually quite nice to have some company there with her. She chuckled a bit, realizing that her name was the exact opposite of the weather at the moment. A slight wind blew, tangling with the hair on her ears and her chest.

Breeze nodding hearing her name and almost chuckled as she stepped back. "Nice name." he barked. "Mine's Breeze." he said as a slight wind blew over the river making it's water blew a little and he flattened his ears not liking the feeling of wind in his ears. "So are you in any sort of pack?" he asked wondering if the dog had gotten off course, or if they just wandered like he did.

A serbain huskey sat down wind of the two dogs. He watched them carefully before raising his head and walking toward the two dogs. he had his head and tail high in the air. He proudly walked over to the two dogs. This dog was the leader of Midnight Pack, Zev. He held a bit of wolf in his blood so his father had named him after the Indain name for wolf. So his name was Zev and he despied his father for it. Any dog that knew a bit of Indain lang would know what his name was. Many dogs resented him when he was pulling sleds.

"I'm new here, so I don't know the packs yet" Storm said, spotting another dog. She watched as he came over, a surely dominant look to him. "Pack leader I'm guessing" she said aloud, knowing that the Husky would hear. Sometimes dogs needed to know that they dont have to be all weird and proud when theyre walking up to two Shepherds that are just talking. She gave a slight wag of her tail to the new dog, trying to seem a bit more polite over just sitting there.

Zev tilted his head. "Yes, I am. I belong to Midnight pack. I'm Zev," Zev smiled. He hoped none of the dogs knew what Zev meant. He dropped his leaderish walk. He sat a distance away from the dogs. Not knowing them so he had to becareful. They didn't seem harmful.

Breeze sighed looking at Zev coming towards them. He'd seen him before, not like he was keeping himself veiled in secrecy or anything. "Oh cool." Breeze said looking back at Storm choosing his words carefully knowning Zev could hear them now. "I'm not in any Pack eithier." he said then looked back at Zev. He probably didn't remeber him, or have met him. Eithier way no need to be hostile...unless this dog was. "Hello...Zev." he barked.
