Bane walked the shore almost silently. He wasn't there to play like most dogs. He didn't play much anyways. He liked the salty smell and the cool breezes as well as the soothing sound of the waves crashing onto the shore. There was just something about the ocean that got to him, and he loved it. The only thing he didn't like was the sand. It was everywhere, it got everywhere! Between his toes and in his short fur and even in his mouth and eyes sometimes. That's when he hated it the most. The sand wasn't bothering him much right now though. The male trotted casually over the ground and glanced out at the endless pool of water. When he looked at it he always wondered if there was something better out there. He hoped there was, there had to be.

Mystic saw Bane on the shore of the ocean. "Hi Bane." she said walking up to him. "it's a nice day." she asid looking over at the waves. "I wish it was this nice everyday." she said.

His ears picked up as he heard someone approaching and then a familiar voice. His head turned to look at the newcomer and his eyes looked at her with recognition. " Hello Mystic. " He spoke softly, smiling slightly as he greeted her. " It is a very nice day. " He agreed before pasuing and speaking again. " If only if only. " He laughed while saying this, looking back out at the ocean before returning to her. " May as well enjoy it while we can. " He stated matter-of-factly with a corner of his mouth lifting up in a crooked grin.

"Yeah" Mystic said sighing. "I wonder what's on the other side of that." Mystic said. She was about to sit down but then she stopped herself. She would never sit down in the sand. Not after last time. "I hope this turns out to be a good winter." she said. "No huge storms or anything." she sighed.

He watched her as she returned his words. As she finished, he began to speak. "I would too, but I wouldn't like to be the one who doesn't make it. It's pretty risky." The male shook his head as he thought about swimming out into the ocean and never looking back. Who knew where he would wind up. " I do as well. I was not built too good for winter you know." Bane chuckled at his own choke and looked at his short coat. It was not made for winter, that was for sure. Noting her movements, Bane turned his shoulder and began to pace away from the sandy beach. "Wanna find somewhere to sit?"

"Yeah it's really risky." Mystic said. "Who's knows where we'd land." she said. Listening to him she nodded. "Mine was." she said. "I just hate summer." she said smiling. She struggled not to run to the grass when he suggested they find somewhere to sit. "Sure" she said and began to follow him off the sand.

Bane walked in silence until he reached a rough patch of grass and rested his haunches onto the ground. Settled, he watched Mystic come and motioned with his head for her to sit. "I don't mind summer, but spring is my favorite." And it was. The doberman enjoyed spring and everything it offered. The cool, relazing winds and not hot daylight that pourded over the land. All the plants came back to life and the earth became green again. It was just so breath-taking. Bane was a sucker for nature.

Mystic went and followed Bane to a patch of grass. She sat down grateful for the grass underneath. "Well spring is good." she said. "But also fall." she said. "Fall is when the leaves turn the prettiest colors, and they aren't all the same." she said. She also did't mind it was a little colder.n
