Need Some Things Cleared Up

Hey! Well, I just joined and made a biography, but I'm not really sure about some things on this site:

• Why did the humans go North?
  
• What's the deal with the dog-catchers? What do they want with the dogs - keep them, kill them, etc.? Why do they need the dogs when they already have their own?

Thanks, just thought it would be good to know this things before I did anything else on the site.

Ok. Well the humans went north because things were better there. They had more construction. jobs, etc. The dog catchers want the dogs for different reasons. Some want them for pets, some want to make them work, even for pit-fights. [No I don't support pit-fights] If you need anymore clarification just reply back.

Mmm'k, but why was there more stuff up North, and why did they all go? Like, did they overmine to the South, was there some sort of disaster, etc? It would be good to know where I'm roleplaying. People don't just leave perfectly good lands.

Well they did leave perfectly good land. I'm creating a plot and that has to do with it lol.
