"No thanks I don't like to eat those creatures when I don't have to." he barked across ignoring the dogs face. "If you didn't want it that badly you shouldn't have caught it trying to show off." he barked focing his voice to stay below a growl. He would leap across the river and show her he could hurt her. But that wasn't the best thing to do right now. At least for now.

Well, we are both dogs, she said the would dogs like she was trying to force it out of her body, We are both carnivores, and therefore eat meat. So you should be the one who likes fish too. But if you insist... Katrina grabbed the fish, and began to walk away very slowly down the side of the river, always keeping the shepard in her field of vision. She stopped, and began to climb the tree closest to her, until she reached a large branch about teh feet up. There, she sat down, cross-legged, and began nawing on the fish.

"Not all dogs eat fish, they prefer other sources." he barked. He lmost snorted seeing the dog jumping into the tree. "What do you think 'm going to do leap up there and take it from you?" he barked rolling his eyes slightly. Arrogant, insolent dog. First she didn't want the fish, now she did. She should learn to eat what you want but make sure you want it before you catch it. And don't just catch prey for sport.
Breeze turned around in search of his own prey. He was getting hungry. He scented the air a faint scent of rabbit filling his mouth. He darted after the creature biting it's neck. Going back to the river he started eating it. He wondered if the dog ahd gone away. Eithier way if it tried to take his rabbit he would give them some scars to think about prey-stealing next time.

Katrina had a look of disgust over the shepard. Well, you should be eating fish, you see. For if you are eating a rabbit, then you are a omnivore. Rabbits have a solid diet of greens. Fish eat little micro-animals in the water, so technically, I am a carnivore, and you are a omnivore. She looked at him thoughtfully, awaiting his response.

Breeze sighed. He hoped the dog had left. Apparently he was wrong. He looked up at her. "Well when fish aren't plentiful and the river freezes over I can actually hunt and you will starve." he barked. Insolence that's what thta dog was. Did she even know how to hunt. Breeze bet she didn't. And that was purely her loss. He could hunt all he liked and when the river froze she could starve to death. Breeze liked that prospect. Breeze glared at the dog daring her to deny that fact.

Actually, she chuckled to herself. This is the last time it will snow for the year, so that means the river won't freeze until next year, and I doubt I'll still be in this exact spot throughout the entire year. This tree might not even be here any more. So, when you say I will starve, you are entirely incorrect.

"I've actually heard it can snow later than this. Winter isn't over." he barked. Taking a bite to finish the rabbit he backed up. Running up to the river's edge he leapt across it landing on the side Katrina was on. "So, when I say you will starve, I am correct" he barked mocking her words.

Now, all I am seeing is your stupidity. Next moon, winter ends, and spring begins. And next moon is only in a few days. She stood up on the branch, letting the face fall. When it reached the ground, you could see that no bites were on it, but the flesh looked like a paper snowflake. So elaborate, you barely believe it. She walked a few more steps until se was just a little bit to the right of the shepard. By the way, I never got your name.

"Oh yes I'm very stupid eating rabbit instead of slimy fish." he growled. "And even though the next moon is soon, winter doesn't end yet." What was this dog? Thinking she knew everything when she didn't even know what seasons! Well, spring was near. But not the next moon! "And I'm Breeze." he said. If the dog wanted to be addressed correctly she could tell her name without him asking. Otherwise he wouldn't even bother.
