Breeze bent down lapping up some water from the river. It tasted so good. So cold. Not that he really needed anything cold right now in the middle of winter. But he didn't like warm water. It sounded weird but he didn't. The taste it left in his mouth. Digusting. This water was much better.
He sat down looking at the river slowly drifting downstream. It moved slowly. Good for him so he could actually drink it. It tumbled over some rocks on it way too. Slicing past them like it didn't know they were there.

Katrina padded softly along the River. The ground was covered with a small layer of snow. For a minute she pondered about whether the river was cleaner or the snow. She decided snow was better. But then again the river was flowing, and therefor taking dirt away from itself, whilest the snow sits and melts away.
Kat came up with a few more solutions, but decided that they were most water, and both on the ground, so they were as clean as anything. She looked up, and saw a German Shepard. Great, a shepard vacross the river. Well, since this area seems to not belong to any pack, she had just as much of a right to be here as he did.
So what did she do? She continued walking, paying no attention to him, as if her were just another tree or rock. In fact, she payed careful notice not to notice him. Not give the slightest sign he had seen her. Katrina took notice of the way her paws left footprints on the snow. They looked as if they belonged on the ground, like they were always meant to be there.

Breeze saw a dog approaching the river. Probably came to get the water. Couldn't really blame her. At least the river hadn't frozen. With all the snow Breeze thought for sure it would happen. Luckily it didn't though. Good for him, and others. Plus prey would come here to drink.
He watched as the dog bent down to drink acting like he wasn't even there. He stifled a growl at the dog. Arrogant as it was. "Not very friendly are you? Breeze said from the other side of the river bank. He could wade across the river, fairly easily. But he didn't want to get his fur wet or scare her off.

As Katrina drank some of the river, she heard the dogs speak. She stopped lapping the water and looked at him. An expression of pure bordom came over her. Carefully laying down, without taking her multi-colored eyes off him, she crossed her paws and stared at him like someone would stare at another animal. A look for intrest, tempermant, and curiousity.

Breeze stiffened at the dog as she looked at him though he was going to lecture her or something. He stifled growling again and had the urge to lunge towards her. "No wonder your a loner with social skills like that" he growled. This dog was getting on his nerves simply. But he didn't want a fight. He hated fights and also, who knew how strong this dog was? He didn't think it, but she might be able to over power him.

She smiled when he said she had bad social skills. Yeah, like you have better she thought. The Shepard seemed to be getting irritated, and she found great amusement in that. She could even sense he might want a fight, but he wasn't planning on having one. Predictable, and... easy.

Breeze growled and lashed his tail clearing away some snow from the ground. He sat down on the compact ground he just had cleared and narrowed his eyes at her. He would sit there until she talked. Apparently she liked to annoy dogs. Well if all she was going to do was annoy him he wasn't going to let that happen.

She stared at him for 5 straight minutes. They always think they can beat me. she thought. Katrina had the ability of blocking things out, listening carefully enough so that she could hear any lies or backround info, and they ability of keeping herself preoccupied. She stared at him for another minute, then seemed to explode into water. She came up out of the river, a fish in her mouth. This should make him unhappier. Shaking the fur off her body, she resumed the same position and began picking at the fish, but not eating it.

She saw her go into the river and pull out something that looked like a fish. Her fur is probably soaked. Nice to see how that turns out with this cold weather. he thought. He never was fond of fish much. Always preferring to eat things that lived on dry land. But if the weather turned harsh he did resort to eating the slimy creatures, At least they didn't taste bad. Maybe oily and such but not a bad taste. "You shouldn't waste prey." Breeze barked across the river watching her just pick at it.

Perfect. Then why don't you come and get it? she said. Slicing the fish once again, she stood up, with the fish in her mouth and gave a muffled bark. She unnoticably dug her claws into the ground, and stared at him poker faced.
